Hello Elizabeth. Remove the wedge, bolt, and washer from the Anchor Body. The Anchor Cover fits the opening in the top of the Anchor Body, square end first, the front slides in, tighten the retaining screw to secure. The Anchor Cover as pictured displays the bottom of the cover. The bottom side fits into the anchor body. Attached please find a picture of the Anchor Body that will assist in visualizing the placement of the cover. Anchor,ladder - Brass - EQDE (ps-4019-bc)
