RE part no 4600-3053 replacement kid less top nut. How do I get the top nut over the handle? For that matter, how do I get the top nut off of my current assembly?

Hi, Mike.The lock nut simply slides over the handle as shown in this Pentair Slide Valve 261165 263064 video.

Hello Jeremy, this is the correct kit ro rebuild the inner parts for the Pentair slide valve model number 263064 less the top nut.

The hardest part, and it wasn't that hard, was finding the correct P/N on the INYOPools.com site. The repair took just minutes. All parts were included in the kit including "O" rings and even the lubricant for the "O" rings. Shut off the pump, loosen the retaining ring, remove the piston shaft and insert the new. 10 minutes max.
