What size is a DE scoop in cups? I lost my DE scoop.

When Pool DE filters mention so many lbs. of DE this is by volume and not weight. The method that many use for measuring DE is to use a 1 lb coffee can, this will be equivalent to 1/2 lb. of DE powder. We also carry a DE Scoop with the same volume as a 1lb coffee can.

I have a Proline/Jacuzzi Model 40DE-HK6-NAMCO filter - from 2006, I was going to order a replacement for the inside grids; the Cassette LS40 grid 42356206r000, but thought for a few more dollars I could get this whole filter, my pump is running fine, do you think this would align okay with my current pump and base?
