Hi, Ron. The diameter of the inlet and outlet is 3-11/16 inches, which uses the Pump Union 2-1/2"FBT x 2-1/2"S - 400-6010.

I have a swim spa pump that I need a wet end only. On the motor Is this info. Waterway 56 frame Part # 3721621-it Model # PV 30-2n-22m. On the wet end it is marked 4HP I know it is 2 1/2 in and out. Will this unit work

If your original wet end was a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" then it is the correct item, The mfg # 3721621 actually shows that it could be a Waterway Executive 2-1/2" suction x 2" discharge or a Waterway Viper 2-1/2" x 2-1/2".
