This hose connector is designed to thread into any female 1.5 inch port then tapers down for a 1-1/4 inch hose to be clamped to it. Typically these are used for pump and filter/valve ports but could potentially be used at the pool as well depending on the port designs.

Is this used when converting a 1.25 inch hole on an intend pool to a 1.5 inch?? My outflow is 2 holes 1.25 inch with the strainer looking caps I'm hard plumbing and need them to be 1.5 inch

Tonya, This fitting is used on the Game SandPro 4510 and 4511 filters. This would be used with flexible filter hose not hard pvc.
