This product will stop a pin hole leak in a vinyl liner pool if the leak is at the floor of the pool. The chemical is heavier than water so it will sink to the bottom.

How do I use Fix a Leak?

Depending on the type of leak you are looking to repair, there are certain steps you must take before and after using the product. If you are using Fix-A-Leak to seal a pinhole leak in a pool liner you will want to set your filter vale to recirculate. If you don't have a filter valve on your filter then you can remove the filter element from the filter. Once this has been done you can slowly pour the product through the skimmer. I had put up with a leak in my spa in an un-repairable location for more than a year and a half. Much to my dismay another, much larger leak developed on the other side. Not wanting to tear apart another side of my spa I was just going to put up with having standing water present on my concrete slab or cutting up the spa and taking it to the dumps. I went on line looking for some chemical that might stop the leak. Fix-a-Leak did the job just as advertised, all for less than $30.00. Leaks are gone and my slab is dry :o).

Pros: fixed the leak the first time
Cons: its a little expensive for a small bottle
It was reccomended by a friend, so I tried it. I used it as the instructions read - it worked great. No more leaks! Thanks for the great product.

I used this product last year because the pool store told me this product does not work thats why they dont carry it.. its either patch it or buy a new liner which mine was about 550.00 to replace and istalled which I told them you are out of your mind the hole it had in it was smaller than a dime Poured a half bottle into the pool my children were swimming the next day, no more leaks love the product I even a ordered a other bottle just in case me or my neighbor need it thank you for saving me some money!!!

This product stopped two leaks in my hot tub that the repair technician said were not repairable. Used 1/2 bottle in my 350 gallon hot tub and the first leak stopped completely and the second leak slowed. The next day I added the second half of the bottle and the second leak stopped. Drained the hot tub 2 days later and had to clean the surfaces to remove the stop leak. DO NOT leave your filters in when using this product.

Didn't really expect much but I hate taking the skirt off and picking away the styrofoam to find a leak. Thought I would give this product a try and VIOLA. The leak has stopped. No water on pad for several days now. I hope it lasts I am completly satisfied.

This product did significantly slow a leak I have with my hot tub. I used 1 application and the leak was completely stopped while circulating the water with the product. After a week I changed the water with fresh water and a very minimal leak resumed. I plan to apply a second application soon which I expect will completely seal the leak. Since my hot tub manufacturer has changed the length of the hoses and fittings involved with my leak using this product will save me hours of time trying to adapt the new fittings with no guarantee of success.

I have a fountain base made of stone and concrete and for the most part it stopped the leaks but I will need more of this product to completely stop leaks.
