(5 out of 5 stars) Realistic Gator!
Reviewed By: pixie from Pompano Beach, FL ()
Pros: very realistic
Cons: freaks out my dog
We've nicknamed our gator "Allie" She's very realistic when you look at her from a distance. Drives our dog nuts, but if it works keeping the iguanas out of the pool, it'll be worth it. She's also quite a conversation piece.. the price was very reasonable when compared to our local pool store.

It turned out a bit smaller than what I thought it was going to be, but it is amazingly realistic looking when floating in my pool. I have had many problems with herons, ducks, etc getting in the pool... pretty sure that is over now that the 'gator is on patrol!

(4 out of 5 stars) "Alli" is now a member of our family
Reviewed By: Cayman Monkey from Grand Cayman ()
Pros: Realistic.
Cons: The skimmer action appears to move the decoy to the corners of the pool.
The floating alligator (named "Alli" by a friend) has been living in our pool for about a week. He was purchased to, hopefully, keep the scores of iguanas who inhabit the neighbouring empty yards and our dock out of the pool. That seems to have worked. However, Alli seems to have made friends with the small lizards, who do not seem to be at all concerned. Three of the contractors who have been working in the house on a major renovation were quite taken aback, so it also appears to be working with people.
