Can you buy just the bearings for this assembly. It is about an inch and a quarter plastic bearing that goes in the end assembly of this brush. If not the bearings can you buy just the gear and end assembly. I don’t need the whole brush. We just have one bearing that is bad.

Active Brush Assembly for the Dolphin m400

Unplug the dolphin, remove the four screws from the old assembly. The new assembly fits perfectly in the space from the old, insert new screws that are included. I plugged the dolphin back in and returned to the pool, so easy.

Dolphin Crawler would power up and the unit would then shut down without moving.

- I gave the Dolphin a thorough cleaning to remove all debris from the cleaner.
- I removed the bottom brush to see why the Dolphin wasn't moving even though there was clearly power to the unit.
- I got lucky and saw a ball bearing fall from the Dolphin. After closer inspection I could see ball bearings on one side of the brush but not on the other side.
- I knew this would impact the unit's ability to move and decided to order the replacement brush assembly at about 10% of the cost for a new unit. We were fortunate... It worked!!
