Secured pump and placed in safe condition. Drained lines. Removed pipe connections to top mount valve using large channel locks. Using Phillips head driver removed flange clamp. While slowly twisting and pulling upward on head to remove it from sand vessel flange. To ensure internal PVC down pipe did not move while removing head, take a quick measurement from top of pipe to vessel flange. Use this measurement to very pipe will not go up into head to far to block flow port that’s located at the top of the head. If pipe is to high u will need to drain and remove sand to allow reseating of lateral tree. If measurement is good, then reinstall head in reverse order. Once pipe tight place head in waste position and refill filter and check for leaks.
