Alternate Part #'s WSECRET (ASWPCBC6)

Product Description

Ahh-Some Winter Pool Stay-Clear Gel is a winterizing gel that is added to the pool prior to covering.  Fast-dissolving formula is a clarifier, sequestering agent, and flocculent all in one.

  • Maintains water clarity during entire winter
  • No harsh chemicals
  • Will not stain or bleach pool liner or finish
  • Reduces the quantity of shock needed
  • Replaces algaecides, clarifiers, and rust & scale inhibitors
  • Compatible with all sanitizing systems including salt & Bacquacil
  • One container treats up to 15,000 gallons
  • 6 oz. jar

To Winterize with Ahh-Some Gel:

  • Use 6 oz. per every 10,000 - 12,500 gallons
  • Add directly to pool water, or skimmer if filter is operating
  • Run filter 6 - 8 hours
  • If filter is disconnected, stir pool water with vaccum head to mix gel completely
  • Add chlorine or non-chlorine shock (any brand) before or after gel (required to activate gel)
  • Use extra shock if algae is visible

Note:  If you live in a climate where your water can heat up under the pool cover, or you use a mesh cover and won't be opening the pool until summer, we recommend adding an additional 1/3 dose in the early spring. Pre-mix the gel in some water, peel a portion of the cover back, and pour the mixture into the water. This will help maintain water clarity for a longer time. Ahh-Some Winter Pool Stay-Clear Gel is especially useful for pools that are covered with a mesh pool cover . You will still get the sediment, however the water will be clear.

If my pool size does not exactly match one of the covers you have listed, is it possible to use a cover that's close to its size and shape?

We highly recommend when it comes to safety covers that if your pool size or shape is not listed in the Cover section that you complete a Custom Safety Cover Form. This is also used for pools that do not have the required 36" deck width the full circumference of the pool. As well as if a pool has non-removable items within 18" of the pool deck.
