This is the patented “SolTub” solar collector. It is made from EPDM rubber with a black polyester outer fabric that is 4 ¾” in diameter when filled with water. It holds 5.5 gallons of water and will heat water to around 130 degrees F. Additional units can be added to any of the Giordano solar showers for those applications that require extra capacity for hot/warm showers. The additional SolTubs are simply “daisy-chained” and allowed to simply lie on the ground by the shower installation.
Is a solar collector included with this shower? If so how long will the hot water last? Can I add an additional solar collector?

The shower does come with one Solar Collector which will give you 7-9 minutes of warm water, you may add a second solar collector which can be daisy chained to the first solar collector that is included with the shower to give you an additional 4-7 minutes of warm water (totaling 11-16 minutes of warm water with two collectors).
