Hello Inyo,
I'm a long time customer and I live in Texas so my pool runs all year, The problem I have in winter is leaves of all shapes and sizes. I am curious about the hole size in the mesh. I get a lot crepe myrtle leaves and the little round berry like things as well. My idea is to use this cover just to keep the leaves out.I'm thinking of making some supports to keep it off of the water. Would like to hear your opinion.

Hi, Rick. The netting on the leaf net will be able to keep out crepe myrtle leaves. Using a leaf net with your pool design will be a bit difficult with the raised spa and rock features.

I don't close the pool for the winter because it doesn't normally freeze around here (until 2021 that is.) But we have a lot of trees on our lot and surrounding lots. It's nice and secluded but when they fall of the trees it's a massive job all winter long. I bought this net and made a PVC snap together frame over the pool. I laid the net over the frame and had a relaxing winter. The net held up great! I was expecting tears etc. but nothing happened to it. My pool is 13 x 40 with added length and with for the slight "L" shape and in ground spa and this cover was plenty big enough to cover the whole thing.

Pros: Kept out most leaves
Cons: Allows wind born stuff thru
The net workes great when on top of a cover. Only allowed the seeds and dried small leaves, berries from trees thru.
