will the parts work on a deck?

Good Morning Bob, Yes, They have hardware that is made for wood , But the unit comes with Hardware for a concrete deck. If you need it for wood I recommend calling in your order ask for Joe Silva his ext. is 704 explain to him that you need the Hardware for wood and he will take care of it through the vendor.

Is the grey pool cover (solid) available for a 16x30 rectangular pool without steps.

Unfortunately, that safety cover is not in stock so would need to be special ordered, that usually take 3-4 weeks for delivery.
