This new "Geo Textile" floor pad is the perfect way to protect your new pool liner against sharp objects, roots and even rocks. Liner Guard makes foam pool pad obsolete as it is impervious to almost any sharp object. The Liner Guard product is cut to size and seamed to fit your pool without any cutting or taping as with most foam products. We had a rip in our new liner from a metal strap that was part of our pool set up. A ladder was rubbing on top where the metal band was and it punctured through. Second time around putting in limer we decided to use the oiner guard to ensure that if band came to top of sane that liner guard would help protect it. It was easy to install and liner set up good over it.

Not really what I expected. This is actually more like landscape fabric. The only wrinkles you can see in the bottom of my pool are the wrinkles underneath the liner in this mat. It may be good to keep weeds from growing into liner, but otherwise I could see no value it in.
