Swimming Pool Pump

The Speck Model E71 medium head pump has been engineered for durability and quiet performance with economy in mind. The all-around pool pump with extra large basket is ideally suited for above-ground and on-ground pools. The Model E71 is designed using 100% recyclable "environment friendly" plastics.

Features:

  • This high performance, medium head pump comes complete with an industry standard 5/8" mechanical seal for convenient replacement.
  • Pump parts are made of 100% recyclable plastic. Non-corrosive, chemical/UV resistant, and can withstand temperatures of up to 150° F.
  • The Model E71 is available with vertical or horizontal discharge to connect to existing pool filters.
  • For pool users' safety, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provides absolute separation between the pool water and electric parts.
  • Pump is equipped with durable, economical 48 frame thru-bolt mount motor with stainless steel shaft.
  • Specially constructed clear lid with ring lock design is easy to open. Large strainer basket is always locked in place.
  • Suction and discharge ports are equipped with 1 1/2" quick disconnect unions. Also available with 2" quick disconnect unions. Discharge has 1 1/2" NPT internal thread and 2" external thread for easy replacement.
  • Reusable o-rings throughout.
  • Pump has standard 3ft. 3/12 AWG cord set premounted. A variety of cord sets are available.
  • The Model E71 comes complete with a full 12 month warranty
  • Every pump is performance tested before leaving the Speck factory.

I have a side discharge (horizontal) Proline SKP 712-2H Model PE71-III-H above ground pool pump. Will your model E71-III-2 fit the filter canister for the Proline I mentioned above? ALSO - does the cord for the E71-III-2 have a twist lock plug? Ken

Hi, You will need to order model # AG196-2150T-HTL, which will come with the horizontal discharge and twist-lock cord.

I have the same pump listed below. SK P712-2h with a horizontal discharge rather than vertical. Proline P E71-III-H. Motor appears bad but cartridge vessel is fine. Is there a replacement motor for this?

Hi, Cary. The Century BN50 is the correct replacement motor for this model pump.

See if you could help me out I have a 2007 pump motor that is starting to slow down . The model is Proline SKP712-2h also PE71-111-H it has a low, off, and high switch, 2hp and Horizontal Discharge please advise on a replacement motor, and Horizontal discharge part. Thank You

Hi, Walter. The BN50 will be the replacement motor and replacement parts are listed on the Speck Model E-71 Pump Part Diagram page. If you're looking to replace the entire pump, you will need AG196-2200S-0ST.

I've had the pump for 3 years now and it still works as well as when I first ordered it. It stays in the "low" speed most of the time, and I have it running 24/7. The only time I turn it off is to clean the filter and of course in the winter. I use the high speed to vacuum and help disperse chemicals. The low speed is very quiet, the high much louder. Great pump all around.
