*Product should be added to a bucket of water and mixed. Once product has begun to pre-dissolve, slowly pour it along the perimeter of the swimming pool. The filter and pump should be running anytime chemicals are added to the swimming pool.

I keep putting chlorine in my pool, but when I check it it reads zero. Any idea why?

The main suspect is low Cyanuric Acid level otherwise known as Stabilizer. Chlorine is vulnerable to the sun's UV rays and the Stabilizer acts as sort of sunscreen. Stabilizer does not break down, it DOES get diluted and go away as water is drained or splashed out. Checking your water balance twice a month should keep the levels in check.

Pros: Does the job well.
Cons: Measuring exact addition to the Pool.
Great product and one of the best prices on-line; will save your chlorine during the the summer. I used it with my Salt Water system and it allowed me to run the generator only half the time. The only improvement I would suggest to get 5 star review would be to graduate the container for ease of measuring the exact amount.
