This is the one algaecide that does it all. Algimycin® 2000 algaecide kills, prevents and controls all algae types. A special wetting agent penetrates and kills even deeply-rooted algae cells. This nonmetallic, poly-complex formula gives fast and effective control with no foaming or staining. It also acts as a clarifier and filter aid by removing algae fast. If used weekly, it prevents algae outbreaks in the pool.
Algimycin® 2000 algaecide is also part of our No Algae. Guaranteed. Program which guarantees an algae-free pool all season long if a GLB sanitizer , Algimycin® 2000 and Oxy-Brite® shock oxidizer are used as part of the regular pool maintenance program.

APPLICATIONS:
Initial Dosage to Prevent Algae :
Add 8-12 oz. per 10,000 gallons.
Maintenance Dosage (weekly) :
Add 4-8 oz. per 10,000 gallons.
To Treat Existing Yellow or Green Algae :
Add 16-24 oz. per 10,000 gallons to a pail of water and distribute.
Initial Dosage to Treat Black Algae :
Add 16 oz. per 10,000 gallons to a pail of water and distribute. Brush spots daily.

TIPS
It is easier to prevent algae growth than to destroy established algae. To be most effective against existing algae, add on a warm, sunny day in the morning. Remove dead settled algae by vacuuming.

What a great product! You can buy it in gallon sizes which is more economical. We use it weekly and we never have algee in our pool. It even tells you how to figure out how much water/gallons you have in your pool. We would recomend this product to all pool owners.

I've used this product before. I would say it is the best algaecide I have ever used. So nice to see it come in a gallon container at such a good price compared to other suppliers.
