Oxy-Brite® non-chlorine shock oxidizer creates sparkling water and oxidizes all in one step. Containing DuPont? Oxone®, a powerful oxygen-based oxidizer, its powerful formula rids pool water of contaminants that cause odor and irritation, and brightens and clears the water with unique blue water brightening crystals.
Oxy-Brite® non-chlorine shock oxidizer is a potassium monopersulfate-based shock oxidizer. It oxidizes like chlorine, but actually reactivates a small amount of spent chlorine and won't deplete the chlorine residual.

If I use Oxy-Brite do I need to use a chorine sanitizer first when I refill my hot tub?

The GLB Oxy-Brite is a non chlorine shock treatment. You would still need to add chlorine when you first fill the spa.

I have used this product for 20+ years in my pool as a shock and it makes the water absolutely beautifully clear and shiny with a sparkle like non other. I highly recommend this product. You can swim immediately after applying. No wait time. So glad Inyo Pools carries this as no local pool stores do.
