OEM Pump Strainer Basket C108-33P is designed to use with Pentair/Sta-Rite JW/JWPA series pool pumps, CFA series pool pumps and is also compatible with Dura-Glas/Max-E-Glas pumps.
Will this basket fit the HSQ165 pump. I ws told to get the Duraglass-1; not the Duraglass-2; but that the "1" model did not have a"1" after it.

Hello - do you know what the model number of your pump housing is? The HSQ165 model number identifies the motor, but that motor can be mounted to dozens of pumps. If your pump's model number begins with a P2, it is a Dura-Glas, if it starts with a P4, then it is a Dura-Glas II.

The pump model is P2RA5E-152, so as you say, I guess I need the Dura-Glass. Do you have any in stock?

I am well pleased with this basket. It is actually blue, not white, which gives added variety to the color scheme. The basket itself is made of durable plastic.

Finally arrived last tuesday, June 14th. The handle on the replacement basket is made of plastic and is much larger than the original copper wire handle. The plastic handle does not lie flat and looks like it may cause debris to hang up on it. So far it is doing its job. They rest of the parts have been istalled and there are no issues with them.
