Pros: Easy install, Tab connectors and bolt-downs

Cons: Hard to hold shaft for threaded impeller.

Nice motor, quiet. Rear capacitor design is sleek and compact.

Pros: Price is right, shipping is outstanding.

Cons: Made in China.

Great customer service people, outstanding prices, and immediate shipping. Nothing to complain about. The motor was an EXACT fit, and I had no trouble replacing the dead motor. It seems to be running about the same temperature as the old (American Made) motor.

Pros: great replacement!

Cons: difficult to remove impeller

I very much like this product. Easy to install with exception of removing the impeller. Overall, great replacement motor!

Pros: Excellent two-speed motor

Cons: no switch

Be aware that there is no manual switch included. The Switch end plate cover is no longer available. However, all you really need is a double throw, single pole toggle switch (DTSP). AO Smith support by email can send you the wiring diagram for connecting the switch. The other option is to connect the pump to an automated controller that can handle a two-speed pump. The Intermatic controllers are great for this and relatively inexpensive if controlling the two-speed pump is all you need.
