My current pump has a leak and is making a loud noise. Other than replacing the motor, is there anything else that I need to replace?

What shaft seal and gasket set do I need for this motor? I have a Sta-Rite PLM150 pump.

Hello Sheryl. The Sta-Rite PLM 150 is a Cartridge Filter. The motor shaft seal and seal plate gasket are specific to the pump manufacturer/model and not the filter. Please provide manufacturer/model information or pictures of your current pump so a recommendation can be provided. If you are providing pictures, please be sure to send several that include the entire pump from inlet to out piping.
