Are the T-cells interchangeable on a Hayward AquaRite system? For example, can I replace a T-cell 9 with a T-cell 15, or vice versa?
This may come as a surprise to some, but not everyone loves salt chlorine generators. Each pool owner has their reasons for not liking salt pools. Some people experience rusting, others have softstone decks, or just don’t like plunking down a few hundred dollars for a replacement cell. Let’s get one thing out of the way, freshwater chlorine and saltwater pools are both chlorine. Though seemingly different, these two use chlorine to keep your pool nice and clean. We’ll be explaining the functionality, sizing, and the advantages of the three basic categories of santizers:
- Chlorine tablet feeders,
- Salt Chlorine Generators; and
- Alternative Sanitizers (e.g. Mineral Cartridges, Ozonators & Ionizers)
