I lose all water flow when my system is on filter but flows just fine when in whirlpool position. What would do that?

Thank you for contacting Inyo. That’s usually the sign of a filter that needs to be cleaned. What is the PSI reading when it is in filter mode?
Either really high or the pressure gauge doesn’t work.
And when you say filter are you referring to the one in the pump?
I’m not referring to the basket in the pump. What kind of filter do you have? Is it a cartridge, sand, or DE filter?

Try backwashing the filter and see if the PSI drops and if the water flow improves.
Done that and i gain some water flow. The pressure doesn’t change.
Either the sand needs to be replaced or you need a new pressure gauge. I would start by replacing the pressure gauge.
