Wonder if you could give me some advice:
New home with in-ground pool September 2018, Naples, Florida (salt chlorine generator). Stains treated by acid wash (pool drained, acid applied twice), December 2018.Refilled & re-balanced. Had to add calcium to get back into normal range.Since then, high acid demand (2 gallons every 3 weeks) & calcium levels continue to rise.
Shut off the salt generator (used liquid chlorine instead) & still needed 10 cups of acid over 11 days.Calcium now 455 despite Summer rains.Do I have a problem or is this normal?Thanks.
