im planning to order a 2hp inground pool motor i just like to know thats the differnce on frame 48Y and frame 56Y ,in in my old motor says 48Y and the one you have on the webside says 56Y can you let me know if 56y wiil fit thank you
The 56Y would bolt up to your existing pump housing. However, the body of the 56Y has a larger diameter. If the motor sits on a base, it may not sit evenly. You can stay with a 48Y frame motor. That way you know for sure that everything will sit properly.
