Aqua Rite Salt Water System not maintaining correct salt level

I have an aqua rite system - the unit is not maintaining the correct salt level.  We had the water tested and it is at 3200.  Recalibrated system and set to the correct number.  T Cell has been cleaned.  Flow switch was changed (not generating light was on - now working correctly).  System says generating but, when checked several hours later the salt level dropped to a level where the light comes on and says to add salt.  Salt level is good.  Reset system to read proper salt level - same thing happened again.  Salt level drops and system stops generating says to add salt.  Any suggestions?

We’d be glad to assist you. Check out the Hayward Aquarite Quick Reference Guide. Specifically. the sections about cell amperage, cell size and inspect cell timer.

Let us know if you continue to have the same problem.

Cell amperage is good.  cell size is set correctly.   cell was just cleaned and no lights on board to indicate any problems.  System just won’t maintain correct salt level.  We have gone through setting the correct level it only holds for a couple of hours and then drops to 1900.  Water test indicates salt at 3200

We just had a similar issue with another Aquarite owner. They replaced the thermister and varistors on the main circuit board and it corrected the problem.

We don’t currently sell those components but you can find them at electrical supply shops.
