Aquarite salt read out display

I have Hayward Aquarite saltwater system and I am getting strange readings on the display that shows salt level along with other items. The salt level reading is 3500 but the negative reading is -2700. The system is generating and there are no indicator light showing hi salt level or check salt. What could cause this?

First, make sure the salt cell is clean and that it doesn’t have scale build-up on the blades. If the salt cell is clean, I’d recommend resetting the average salt level. Listed below are the instructions for that.
