I’m having issues with my Aquarite Control Box. I have purchased both a new PCB Main Board then a new Display Board. Nothing lights up or displays. I checked to make sure it was getting power into the box (lower left Black and Red wires). Full power going in. When I check the red and black wires in the top right - nothing - no reading. Help!
Hello Thomson - We’d be glad to assist you. It could be a faulty transformer (GLX-XFMR). Check out the Aqua Rite Diagnostics manual, pages 9-12. Step E on page 10 explains how to test the transformer.
Well I replaced the transformer and still nothing. So to date I have replaced the main board, the display board and the transfomer. Nothing. I have followed the steps you gave me. The last step mentions to check the voltage on the Red & Black wires. Mine doesn’t give a reading. It says to replace rectifiers. What are they? I have changed everything in the box. At this stage it would have been easier to buy a whole new box. So far I am not impressed with the Hayward system. Still need help though.
