I’m working on a pool with a Hayward SwimPure Plus SWP3, Calibration for Average Salt does not hold. Every few days I have to recalibrate. Exemple salt level drops from day to the other from 3100 to 700 ppm. My Cell is in very good state has been washed about 3 weeks. Is this problem cell related or control PWB related. Is there a troubleshooting documenttation on this unit

Thanks

Usually, the issue is the cell. They typically last 3-4 years before needing to be replaced. Click Here to View a Detailed Troubleshooting Guide

Thanks for the respond, is there any test I can do to verify this, I’m all the way in the caribbean and I don’t want to order parts without being sure, Thanks

You can test the amperage ratings in both polarities. If either polarity has a 0 amp rating the main PCB is bad and needs to be replaced. If the amps in both polarities are showing up, the cell is the culprit in most cases.

There are several flow charts in the document I shared with you in the last post. One of those should diagnose the problem as well.

I did the test in both polarities The Voltage is 29.0 & 29.5 but the Amp. is 0 in both polarities. So it’s the main Board

Yes, a 0 amp rating would indicate a failed main PCB.
