House came with pool and it had an salt water system and ozone generator that are no longer working. See attached pictures. I am looking at the Crystal Pure PL7707 and have a couple of questions.

  1. I have a Nature2 Mineral Cartridge. Is this compatible with the salt chlorine generator.

  2. I have a spa with spill over can I install the flow sensor just downstream from the valve (see picture plubming 2)

  3. I have an aqualink but my pentair variable speed pump is currently being operated from a program at the pump. Is there a problem with connecting to one of the timer relays on my aqualink and still run the pump through the keypad.

  1. The Nature2 is compatible with salt systems.

  2. The flow switch needs 12" of straight pipe leading into it. The cell counts as a straight pipe so it can go in right after the cell. It can also go downstream of the valve as long as there is 12" of straight pipe and it’s the line going back to the pool.

  1. There is no problem connecting the salt system to the Aqualink relay. Set the timer of the salt system within the time period that the pump is running.
