I purchased a BN25V1 a year and a half ago and it has been operating fine this season, the last two months. After turning it off to clean the filter, when attempting to restart it, it just hums. The shaft can turn freely and there is nothing clogging the impeller.
It appears that this model does not have a capacitor. Any ideas for troubleshooting this issue?

Unfortunately with your motor not having a replaceable capacitor, you would require a new BN25V1 Motor it will be important that you also replace your shaft seal when replacing your motor. Do you know the make and model of your pump, so we can suggest the proper shaft seal?
