I repaired / modified my Intex chlorine generator when it quit working. I now get a steady, significant stream of bubbles leaving the cell plates. After a few hours of operation, free chlorine test strips indicate a safe level of chlorine, but I’m back to zero the following morning.
I read somwehere that salt chlorine generators should produce sodium hypochlorite, not pure chlorine. Is the bubble stream an indication that I’m getting chlorine gas instead?
