I am a new pool owner ( under 2 months ). Learning more and more everyday. Here is my dilemma.
I have a 10K gallon inground fiberglass pool that the my only return jet is blocked and sealed off ( with some type of fiberglass patch similar to a bycycle tire patch ). Are there interchangable heads to turn my spa jets ( QTY 2) into a normal return jet? For the last month the pool has been working ( I’m assuming using the spa jets as the return ) but gradually the motor went bad. When they came to change the motor ( 3/4 HP Hayward Super Pump for my existing 3/4 HP US Motors Pump ) the head pressure built so bad it broke the PVC Seals apart.
Part 2 of the question is how are the spa jets connected to the pool pump, as in plumbing diagram?
