Hello - I have the Century 7-193990-07 motor on a Jandy PHPM2.0-2 pump.  the motor is completely shot and i need to replace it.  Is the B984/B2984 the correct replacement motor?  Thank you

Thank you for contacting Inyo. The Jandy PHPM2.0-2 is an uprated 2HP 2-speed pump. The B984-B2984 is not the correct motor because it is a full rated 2HP motor. The direct replacement for your 7-193990-07 is model B983/B2983. The B2983 is listed as a full rated 1.5HP 2-speed motor but the total HP is 2.21.

Thank you for the info - purchased the B2983 motor and installed it this weekend.  Works perfectly - I forgot what a good motor was supposed to sound like!
