Crystal Pure Salinity Readout

There is a “default salt display” and an “instant salinity” reading available when selected by the diagnostic button. Shouldn’t those numbers always be the same? The two numbers are way different on my unit.

The manual says you can can match the default display to the instant salinity number, but what good would that be? Shouldn’t it always display the current salinity level?

It is normal for the default and instant salinity readings to deviate. Are any of the LED lights red or flashing? If not, the system is working normally.

Thanks. I do not have red lights and it says it is generating, but the display reads 3600 (currently) and the instant salinity reads 00000. I wait for it to update but it returns to the default display before any instant reading is given (after 30 sec or so). This has been the case for a few days now.

Would like to know why I can’t get readings on salinity if all is as it should be.

Could you restart the system and take video of the display? Wait 2-3 minutes and then take a video of you pressing the diagnostic buttons so that we can see the salinity level, cell voltage, and cell current.

You can try posting the video to the forum or you can email it to upload@inyopools.com. Put “Attention Rob” in the subject line.

Sounds good - I will do that… Thanks!

Follow up: got home and now both readings are within 100 ppm of each other. Maybe it just needed a few days to get new salt disssolved/distributed. We have had some heavy rain lately, as well.

I will follow up if the unusual readings return. Very happy with quality of equipment and service/support so far. Thanks again!

That’s great news! We’re going to send you an email shortly regarding your experience with the Crystal Pure. Any feedback you can give us will be appreciated.
