my Pentair DE filter did not backwash properly meaning the water released was mostly clear versus a beige solid color as in the past which eventually would get clear when most of DE was washed out.
After replacing DE the next day pool bottom is full of DE and other dirt
first time this had happened. Filter is about 9 years old
The multivalve has been getting very difficult to move also.
