Do they make a real automatic pool cleaner?

I have had a Polaris 280, a 380, and a 360. Each one gets hung up on curved steps for 15 to 45 minutes at a time, plus all 3 would make “loop de la’s” and tie knots in the leader hose or run round and round the plug-in at the wall until the leader hose looks like a backlash on an open face fishing reel. Now, I got advice from InYoPool a couple of months ago that Pentair Legend would be a good replacement for the next option after the present 280 finally bites the dust. Yet, I have been reading the comments on the Pentair Legends and they too get hung up on steps and they have trouble cleaning the shallow end of the pool if less than 3 feet deep.

I guess my question is the same as my title: Do they make a real automatic pool cleaner or maybe is there one that’s worth a krap? Pressure type would be better than vacuum operation models as one skimmer only sucks at 1/4 capacity as either the pvc pipe is bent or something is stopping it up and I am not going to jack hammer 30 feet of CoolKlad to find it and replace it.

I’d recommend a robotic pool cleaner for your pool. It plugs into an electrical outlet and works independently from your pool equipment. It will work itself out of corners, climb the walls, and even brush the tile line. We’d recommend the Aquabot Classic.
