I have a anthony va38 DE filter which is not filtering properly. When i put de in the skimmer the full amount comes out the return within seconds. The grids are fairly new and have no holes in them. I replaced the bronze plunger push-pull valve which i ordered from you late last summer but did not solve the problem. What else could be causing this.
also my pool water is very cloudy from de unless i let all settle and i must solve the filter problem first
There could be a crack in the collection elbow and that could be the cause of the DE returning to the pool. That is a very old filter. I would start the process of planning to replace it.
Something similar in size would be the Waterway model 570-0036-07. The valve for the filter would be part number WVD001.
