Hi - We have a StayRite PLM100 (37GPM) and a Hayward Power FLO LX (70GPM) on a 15,000 gallon above ground. The PLM100 replaced a PLD50 last summer (we thought with the higher number we’d get twice the cleaning power or something). Anyway, I cannot get the pool clear this year even through I’ve been trying to SLAM. We end up cleaning the filter daily, or after 4 hours of running the pump. We can’t even run over night because it becomes a trickle. So maybe this filter needs to be replaced? Or maybe it was the wrong filter for this kind of application?
