I have an old Pentair Nautilus NSP 36 that I will be replacing soon. Is there a direct replacement that I will not need to re-plumb? The previous install left no room to change the plumbing without a major re-work.
According to the manufacturer, there is no direct “drop-in” replacement for the Pentair Nautilus Plus NSP36 DE Filter. If space and minimal re-plumb are strong considerations, you may wish to consider a cartridge style filter. A cartridge style eliminates the backwash valve and typically has a smaller footprint.
