After opening the pool this Spring there were decaying leaves that settled on the bottom of the pool. After clean up, in some areas dark stains were left behind. Shock, algae treatment lightened the stains, and an organic stain removal product from my local store (clear liquid, I forget the product name) had some impact, but the stains remain. The stains also resist removal from “magic erasers” by Mr. Clean that typically wipe away most liner stains. Suggestions for removing these stains?
Hello CEA0869 - We’d recommend trying the Extra Strength Stain Free by Natural Chemistry. It’s an industrial strength ascorbic acid. A lot of vinyl liner pool owners have had good luck using that product.
