I have a Hayward Pro Logic Automations system PL-PS-4. I’ce replaced the crappy Hayward AQL2 remote 3 times. Tired of it. They are expensive and mare made NOT TO LAST. So…rather than replacing yet another one or cutting it open to put a new battery from China not designed for it inside, I am considering looking into other automation/remote solutions. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Aqua Connect AQ-CO-HOMENET and the AQ-CO-SERIAL? Do they both do the same thing? SERIAL is way cheaper and on the Hayward website it has the exact same description as the HOMENET. And int he installation manual for HOMENET on the Hayward website, I see no metion of the SERIAL. Any help would be gretaly appreciated. Thanks!
