I need a new filter. Old one is Sta-rite DE model S8D110. We would like to try a cartridge filter. Pool is 28,000 gal., 2 inch piping, 1 horse pump (still working), don’t know feet of head, pipes under cement. I am thinking old filter of that size is now overkill. We originally started this pool with salt (salt system is dead) but now serviced with liquid chlorine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please e-mail me with any other questions. Thank you, Dana
Thank you for contacting Inyo. A good single cartridge system would be the Hayward Star Clear Plus C12002. If you want a quad cartridge system, we’d recommend the Hayward SwimClear C3030. The benefit of the quad cartridge is that you’d rarely have to open it up to clean it.
