help identifying correct replacement motor

I am looking to replace the pump motor on my pool, hopefully with one of the variable speed motor replacements you offer.  The motor is an Emerson, but I cannot make out the label. Looks like it is 1 HP. I attached a couple pictures.

It appears to be a Hayward super pump.

The diffuser is Hayward sp2600B. (needs replaced)

The impeller is Hayward sp2600C (needs replaced)

The seal plate and motor mounting plate may be generic.

its amazing this thing still ran!

I have been considering an upgrade for energy efficiency.  I was thinking about getting the ECM16CU… is this the right replacement?  I supposed I would need a whole new drive train kit upgrade as well.

Or, would I be better off with a  whole new pump?  I really don’t want to have to replumb.

1 have a 15000 gallon pool, my flow rate should be 20.8- 43 gpm with TDH of 46, based off articles on your site.

Thanks

The pictures did not come through. However, the ECM16CU variable speed motor would be the correct replacement for a 1HP Hayward Super Pump.

The drive train upgrade kit would include the diffuser, seal plate, motor mounting plate, impeller, and seals. The kit that would match the ECM16CU motor is part number 5110-53.

I’d recommend the motor and parts over the complete pump. It is more economical and you won’t have to mess with the plumbing.
