help identifying Hayward Pro Grid Filter

Hey! I recently bought a house with some dated pool equipment. I am currently trying to identify all of my problem areas, one of them being the filter. I need to replace a couple grids and i want to make sure that i buy the right ones. I believe that I have a Hayward Pro-Grid 7220 DE Filter. When i look at the placard with the information there are several boxes that list the filter numbers (ie DE6020, DE7220…) and none of them are checked. As far as physical appearance of the filter it is tall, approx 40-48". The top section is the about the same size as the bottom section… any ideas?

Hello Whee3107 - The DE4820 measures 40-1/2" tall, the DE6020 is 46-1/2", and the DE7220 is 52-1/2". You can also measure the grids on the inside of the filter. The 4820 has 24" tall grids, the 6020 has 30" grids, and the 7220 has 36" grids.

Okay great, I’ll take some measurements. Thanks!

Great! Check out our grid page once you confirm the model. We sell individual grids as well as complete packs.
