I upgraded to an LED color changing bulb in my spa light fixture (part# PL5817) but it only works on 2 colors and I can’t get it to change to all of the preprogrammed modes. It is controlled by an air contact switch, I believe this is the problem because there is a delay from when depressing switch to power being supplied to the fixture (design intent). So my question is, is there a way to safely wire this to an alternate switch, or do they make an air switch to control LED bulbs ?
Thank you for contacting Inyo. This is the first time we have heard of this issue but it makes sense. If the delay is too long, it won’t switch colors properly.
We would recommend hiring an electrician to run the light to a standard light switch.
I have the led color changig bulb in both the spa and pool. I lost my instruction booklet. Is there one available on line?
Do you have the PureLine PureColors LED bulb?
