My pool lights started trippng the GCFI. So, I'd like to repace the bulbs and gasket but not sure what I should order. Took one apart and here is the information I have from the markings...

The front of the outside frame says "STA-RITE". It measures about 10" in diameter.

There is a label attached to the wire that has the following numbers: E41102, 8101, Issue No 624, 32165-4114

The Bulb: 500W 120V Pool & Spa

I'd like to know if I can replace the Bulbs with an LED to save power consumption. I've seen some that look like they have various color options that you can choose by turning the light on and off, but they don't appear to have a plane white option.

Thanks,

Geoff

 Hi Geoff,

We should have a few options for you but we need to pinpoint which Sta-Rite light you have first, can you take a look through these Sta-Rite Pool Lights and let me know if any of these look like your light. If you can't determine which one of these lights are yours then can you send me a few photos of your light with a measuring tape in the photo showing overall width and depth of light? To add a photo follow the instructions below...

Service,

I have a Pentair IntelliBrite 12volt LED light installed now. The LED is only red now after very few uses and 3 years. My light which was replaced by the Pentair was 14 years old and still working. What do I need to buy to install a screw in LED buld? I see them from $65 to $165 . The Pentair, which I am not going to replace is $411.

What parts do I need to replaced this piece of JUNK?

Hi HaroldB,

That is the exact reason I don't like the pool lights with the integrated LED PCB Boards, the exact same thing happened to me with the Jandy LED's.

You can't replace the board with a screw in light with your Intellibrite. I would suggest replacing your Intellibrite light with a PureLine PureColors 12V Light Fixture at $399 The PureColors bulb is screw-in so if the bulb ever goes bad in this light then it can be replaced at a price of $149.

Thank You

Patrick

Charlie, I have the same part (Model 60-xx-5x) and I am unable to find a replacement gasket anywhere.  The replacement part mentioned is incorrect (Pac_Fab Hatteras Len Gasket) as that one does not have the silcon flap around the ring (not sure what is iss called) - What part worked for you?

Have the same light and have tried a standard gasket from local pool place but having a tough time with the seal.  Leaks after a few days and trips the breaker.  Did you have luck finding the right seal?  Also all the bulbs I'm finding are 500 watt.  Seemed to work fine while it worked.  Appreciate your response.
