What is the other hole in the skimmer (not the one that delivers pool water to the pump) there for?
Thank you for contacting Inyo. In most cases, the 2nd hole in the skimmer is connected to the main drain. If it’s not connected to the main drain, it is usually plugged.
If you have two skimmers, the second hole could be connected to the 2nd skimmer.
