Motor replacement for Hayward P/N PHK2RA6F-103L

I need to replace the motor on my Hayward P/N PHK2RA6F-103L.

What motor should I buy?

Hello Drusk99 - We’d be glad to assist you. I couldn’t find a Hayward pump with your model. However, I did cross reference PHK2RA6F-103L to the 1.5HP Sta-Rite Super Max pump.The replacement motor is model B2854.

We also recommend replacing the shaft seal, diffuser o-ring and body o-ring when you install the motor.

One last question before I place the order. Are the parts you recommended for this exact motor and pump? The shaft seal listed is for a saltwater system, which I don’t have.

The parts I recommended are for your exact pump. The salt water seal can be used on any pool. It’s a more durable seal. We also offer the standard shaft seal for non salt water pools.

I’ll get this ordered soon. My current motor is very loud although it’s only 2 1/2 years old. I’m thinking I will replace the motor myself with the help of a friend.
