I think i need a new Multi-port valve. I have water coming out of my waste port when the valve is on filter. Also when I vacuume I ocassionally get what look like clouds pumping back into the pool. It is taking me much longer to get the pool clean this year than previous seasons. I tried replacing the spider gasket last year but it seams to be worse this year. All of the labels were worn off before I even bought the house. I have no idea who the manufacturer is of sand filter let alone a model. I know that the plumbing is all 1 1/2" and the pool is about 23000 gal. Also the handel does not turn well. Can anyone help or do i need to just buy a whole new filter?
There are no markings at all on the valve or the tank. I don’t think it is a hayward. I took it to 5 differnet pool stores last year to find a spider gasket that fit. 3 of them were hayward dealers and none of their gaskets fit. The place I finally found it at is no longer in business or I would ask them.
It could be that one as well. It’s hard for us to know for sure because we don’t know the make and model of the filter. Usually, there is a part number embossed somewhere that gives us a clue.
If you order that one and it’s incorrect, it can be returned.
